공모개요

POPULOUS has launched ' Stadium of Tomorrow' Design Competition – an opportunity for all Korean student architects and designers to design a stadium which responds to the world’s diverse environmental and climatic conditions.

At POPULOUS, we are on a quest for quality to ensure that our surroundings affect our lives in a positive way. We want our designs to harmonise with the environment, responding to the climate, the culture and the community. We place great importance on sustainability and ensure that each of our designs can help to minimise their carbon footprint from the initial design, through to project completion.

We are also committed to investing in our architects and designers and in the education of young talented students. Our recent completion of the design for the Main Stadium for the Incheon 2014 Asian Games, coupled with our commitment to developing our presence in Korea has created an opportunity to invest further in talented Korean designers, and thus the ' Stadium of Tomorrow' Design Competition was born.

POPULOUS에서는 ‘Stadium of Tomorrow’ 라는 주제로, 전세계의 다양한 환경에 적용 가능한 미래 지향적 스타디움 디자인 아이디어 공모전을 개최합니다.

POPULOUS는 공모전을 통해 세계의 젊고 유능한 디자이너들을 발굴하고 더 많은 기회를 제공하고자 합니다. ' Stadium of Tomorrow' 공모전은 향후 전 세계 디자이너들을 대상으로 개최될 예정이지만, 제 1회 공모전은 인천 아시안게임 주경기장의 성공적 마무리에 사회 환원의 일환으로,  전세계의 대한민국 학생 건축가 및 디자이너들에 한정하여 공모 자격을 부여합니다.

POPULOUS는 모든 디자인이 주위 환경, 기후, 문화 그리고 지역 커뮤니티와의 조화에서 비롯되며, 우리 주변을 이루는 모든 환경의 질적인 향상이 디자인 아이디어의 출발점이어야 한다고 믿고 있습니다. 이러한 믿음을 바탕으로 현재 POPULOUS에서는 프로젝트의 시작부터 완공까지의 모든 디자인 과정에서 탄소 배출량을 최소화하고자 노력합니다. 그리고 이제는 한국의 젊은  학생 건축가와 디자이너들에게, 환경과의 조화를 이루는 더 나은 방법들에 대한 생각을 묻고자 합니다.

공모전의 우승자(팀으로 참가시 별도의 포트폴리오 심사로 1명 선정) 1명에게는 상금 이외에 유급 인턴쉽을 비롯한  25,000 호주달러에 상당하는 혜택이 주어집니다.

□ 접수기간 및 일정

모든일정 시작 2011년 10월 26일 (한국시간 08:00)부터이며, 각 마감시각은 아래와 같습니다.

●질의사항접수 2011년 12월 22일 까지 (한국시간 23:59)

●지원서 접수    2012년 01월 22일 까지(한국시간 23:59)

●작품 접수          2012년 02월 22일 까지(한국시간 23:59)

●결과 발표          2012년 03월 09일
